Movers.com has launched a new comprehensive guide to local moving services in the Edison, NJ area. The guide aims to help families and businesses navigate the relocation process in a stress-free manner.

North Brunswick Township, United States - May 16, 2023 /PressCable/ —

With comprehensive listings of locally-owned moving companies in New Jersey, the guide provides easy access to key information for individuals or corporations planning a move - with a focus on a number of important screening questions that clients should ask potential movers before hiring a company.

More details can be found at: https://www.movers.com/moving-guides/questions-to-ask-your-moving-company-before-you-hire-them.html

The report helps clients avoid a number of common pitfalls associated with relocation. These points include questions about the time in which a moving company has been in operation, the mover’s reputation, licensing and insurance status, binding or non-binding price estimates, hidden costs, techniques to prevent damage, and crew training.

Moving to a new home is among the most stressful events in life, ranked alongside bereavement and divorce - yet moving is something that most people experience at least once, with around 8% of Americans relocating domestically within any given year. To help reduce the substantial stress associated with moving, the new guide from Movers.com identifies possible trouble spots ahead of time for a more streamlined moving experience.

Most people are aware of the importance of hiring a reliable moving company, but the guide raises many questions that may not be immediately obvious. For instance, a top-quality moving company should provide potential clients with a detailed claims process in the case of lost or damaged items. The moving crew should also be able to describe the specific techniques they will use to avoid damage to floors and walls.

In addition to the questions in the guide, Movers.com provides other resources to assist people with the process of relocation. The Movers.com website simplifies a potentially stressful process by offering real customer reviews and detailed price comparisons.

All companies listed on the company site have gone through a pre-screening process. With full profiles on local companies, including services, license numbers, and contact information, clients can find the right moving company for their needs.

A Movers.com company spokesperson says, “It’s taken nearly fifteen years of intensive industry research, robust cutting-edge technology, and careful attention to relocation trends to get to the top. Now we’re proud to be the Internet’s best moving resource.”

Lakers rout Clippers 103-87 without Luka Doncic

INGLEWOOD, California — Quentin Grimes scored 23 points, Collin Sexton added a season-high 21 points off the bench, and the Los Angeles Lakers — without Luka Doncic — beat the Los Angeles Clippers 103-87 on Wednesday night for the second time in a week. Doncic sat out with back tightness from the second game of the team’s first back-to-back of the season. Starting forward Ziaire Williams missed the game with a sore left foot. Coach JJ Redick said both moves were precautionary. Without Doncic's NBA-leading 36-point average, the Lakers (4-1) had six players in double figures. Austin Reaves had 16 points and Matisse Thybulle had 15. Sexton and Thybulle had four 3-pointers each. Rookie Keaton Wagler scored a career-high 21 points off the bench to lead the Clippers (1-3). They dropped their third in a row, having lost to the Lakers by eight points on Friday. They were without starting forward Rui Hachimura (left quad tightness) against his former team. The Clippers again failed to hold onto the ball with 24 turnovers. They had 26 in each of their last two games, both losses to the Thunder and Lakers. Down 18 points, the Clippers briefly rallied to open the third, outscoring the Lakers 12-2 to pull within seven. But the Lakers closed the quarter on a 27-15 spurt, with Sexton reeling off 11 consecutive points including back-to-back 3-pointers for an 85-65 lead. The Lakers took control in the second quarter, outscoring the Clippers 31-6, including 16 points in a row, to take a 56-38 halftime lead. Six different players scored for the Lakers, led by Reaves with nine.
