CSIA, Inc., a renowned woman-owned and operated insurance agency headquartered in San Diego, California, is making waves with its innovative approach to Contractor License Bond Insurance services in the Golden State.

With an impressive legacy spanning over a quarter-century, CSIA, Inc. stands as a beacon of expertise and reliability in the construction trade business. Under the astute leadership of Owner Renee Powell, the agency has consistently delivered on its mission: to provide contractors and commercial businesses with comprehensive coverage that meets stringent standards, all at competitive price points.

CSIA, Inc.'s expansive portfolio encompasses a wide array of insurance policies, including but not limited to General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Bonding, Property, Excess Coverage, Course of Construction, Tools and Equipment Coverage, and numerous other offerings tailored to the construction industry. Beyond construction, their expertise extends to various other commercial enterprises, ranging from small nail salons to large real estate investment firms.

Since its inception in 2006, CSIA, Inc. has played a pivotal role in assisting California contractors and businesses in navigating the complex web of insurance requirements. Their commitment to ensuring compliance with guidelines set forth by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and contract mandates has made them an invaluable partner for businesses in the region.

What sets CSIA, Inc. apart is their unwavering dedication to understanding the unique needs of the building trades. They recognize that time is of the essence in this industry, and their competent staff works tirelessly to expedite the process of finding the right coverage. The agency's reputation for delivering prompt and tailored solutions to get clients swiftly onto the job site is well-established.

As an independent insurance agency, CSIA, Inc. prioritizes the interests of their clients over allegiance to any single insurance carrier. With each member of their staff boasting over a decade of tenure, clients can rest assured that their needs remain at the forefront. The agency goes the extra mile, continuously monitoring policies and options to secure the best coverage at every renewal, offering a level of personalization rarely found elsewhere in the industry. Timely responses within 24 hours for all inquiries underscore their commitment to efficiency.

CSIA, Inc.'s enduring success is attributed, in part, to the strong relationships they've cultivated with numerous commercial and contractor insurance carriers over the years. These alliances grant clients access to better rates and comprehensive coverages, empowering the agency to represent clients' interests effectively by exploring multiple carriers to find policies that precisely match their unique requirements and budgets.

Efficiency is at the core of CSIA, Inc.'s service model. Serving as a one-stop shop for all insurance needs, they streamline processes for clients. With a single contact, clients can secure a single certificate reflecting all their insurance policies, eliminating the hassle of dealing with multiple agents.

"We understand the challenge of finding affordable insurance coverage in California," says Renee Powell, Owner of CSIA, Inc. "Our mission is to provide both affordability and protection, ensuring that our clients get the best coverage at the best price."

CSIA, Inc.'s specialization in contractor insurance is not just lip service; it's a tangible asset. Their deep knowledge of insurance requirements and their ability to customize policies to meet all job site needs sets them apart. They offer a range of endorsements and waivers, including blanket waivers that facilitate the addition of multiple additional insureds to certificates of insurance throughout the policy term. This flexibility is invaluable for clients dealing with urgent certificate requests.

However, what truly distinguishes CSIA, Inc. is their unwavering commitment to providing unmatched customer service. During regular business hours, all inquiries are met with live representatives who promptly assist with policy needs, service requests, and certificate issuance. This dedication to efficiency and customer satisfaction forms the cornerstone of their operations.

Ahanmisi inks 3-year extension with SMB

SAN Miguel Beer solidified its backcourt depth by signing shooting guard Jerrick Ahanmisi to a three-year extension deal. “Jerrick is a young and talented player, and we definitely see him as an important part of SMB’s future,” SMB team manager Gee Abanilla told The Manila Times in confirming Ahanmisi’s new contract. The 10th overall pick of Magnolia in the 2020 PBA Draft is already making his presence felt in the Beermen’s title bid in the Season 50 Governors’ Cup, where he averaged 10.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists. The Beermen are currently tied with the NLEX Road Warriors at joint top spot in Group A before the tournament took a break. “He’s already contributing to the team as a combo guard, and we believe there’s still a lot more that we can bring out of him,” said Abanilla. “We have a lot of talent on this team, so the challenge for the coaching staff is to continue developing each player and bring all those individual talents together into one cohesive unit.” ”With Jerrick’s three-year extension, we now have the time to continue developing his game and help him reach the full potential that we believe he has,” he added. The 28-year-old Ahanmisi is coming off his first ever stint with Gilas Pilipinas in the Asian Games, where the Philippines failed in its bid to defend the men’s basketball crown in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The former Adamson University gunner, who won the Three-Point shootout in the All-Star Weekend this past summer, was shipped to San Miguel by Terrafirma, along with Paolo Hernandez in exchange for Chris Miller, veteran Juami Tiongson and the Beermen’s 2028 second round draft pick.

China prodigy wins 3rd gold as North Korea weightlifters roar

Nagoya, Japan — China's 13-year-old swimming prodigy Yu Zidi sealed a hat-trick of Asian Games titles on Wednesday, as North Korea won their first two golds thanks to their powerhouse women weightlifters. Towards the end of the fourth full day of action in Aichi-Nagoya, China were easily top of the medals table with 47 golds. Second were the hosts Japan on 15, with South Korea third with eight. The schoolgirl Yu will be remembered as one of the faces of the Games after her eye-popping exploits in the pool. If she maintains her current trajectory the teenager will be a major medal threat at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. Yu, who turns 14 next month, powered to a dominant victory in the women's 400m individual medley in a Games-record 4min 28.56sec. It gave her a clean sweep from her three individual events, following victories in the 200m butterfly and 200m individual medley, also in Games-record times. It was a reflection of China's dominance in the pool this week, winning 21 of the 28 golds so far. But for all her success, Yu says there is still room for improvement. "I gained a lot from these Asian Games but there were also some regrets," she said after the race. The teenager stood in wide-eyed amazement when a reporter suggested she had made it look easy. "Definitely not," she replied. Tears of joy North Korean weightlifter Ri Song Gum gave her country their first gold of the Games, and in style, setting three world records in the women's 49kg class. Kang Hyon Gyong made it a golden double for North Korea's women weightlifters by winning the 53kg class in equally dominant fashion. Ri, who stands a mere 140cm (4ft 7ins) tall, joined an elite club of four weightlifters who have won three Asian Games golds. The 28-year-old was emotional as her country's anthem was played at the medal ceremony. Ri's exceptional achievement was cheered to the rafters in a lively atmosphere, made all the more raucous by a large number of Japanese North Korean fans waving flags. Ri hauled 94kg above her head in the opening snatch discipline, one kilogram more than the previous world standard of 93kg. She then smashed the clean and jerk world mark of 115kg twice by hoisting 116kg and then 121kg. Her total of 215kg also obliterated the world mark by 7kg. "The reason I got this gold is for the feelings of my home country, the people had huge expectations for me," Ri told reporters. "I wanted to lift my country up on these two small shoulders." - 'Powering to gold' - Athletics began with the men's and women's half-marathon race walks. China's Shi Shengji won the men's and compatriot Yang Liujing triumphed in the women's. "My name means 'power', so here I walked with power," said Yang. Asked about her country winning both the men's and women's disciplines, she replied: "I think it's normal for us to sweep the (gold) medals." In badminton, world number one An Se-young won her match but South Korea lost 3-1 to Japan in the women's team event semi-finals. An, the reigning world and Olympic champion, was not best pleased by her father in the crowd. "Parents usually cannot bear to watch their own children compete, but my dad seems to watch perfectly happily, which is a bit much," she said. "I am out there running myself into the ground and he is just cheering away in comfort." China won the men's team event in gymnastics, ahead of Japan. "Second place. The most honest feeling is that it is very frustrating," said Japan's Daiki Hashimoto. AFP
